Lyrics to a song a wrote

1st Verse
I was flying, so high, the wind carried me
I was never going down or so it seemed
Then I hit a bump in the road
Now instead going fast i was going slow
Until i halted into a complete no-go

Nothing seemed to go my way
Instead of to my back the wind blew against me
I tried going left, then shifted to my right
But my vision was blurry at that time of night
And it wasn't long before i found
I had taken a one-way ticket down
I was broke and i was bent
Thought I'd never learn to fly again

chorus
Now I'm finally back on my feet
Ive healed up very nicely
Ive taken yo the skies once again

I'm not as high as i used to be
But its high enough to be proud of me
If you look back and see where I've been
But to judge myself as perfect
I gotta change the gauge of my success

2ND verse
I breathing in the gentle breeze cause Ive survived the storm
I'm stumbling adjusting to my new norm

I gotta realize that that's OK
It'll be a while before I'm a bright sun ray
I've been beaten, but also blessed
I vow to fight back with nothing less than my best
chorus
Now I'm finally back on my feet
Ive healed up very nicely
Ive taken yo the skies once again

I'm not as high as i used to be
But its high enough to be proud of me
If you look back and see where I've been
But to judge myself as perfect
I gotta change the gauge of my success
bridge
My surroundings are always changing
My pride inflates then gets deflated
Things will never be the same again
I can't wait for the sky to be favorable
I gotta go, cause I'm more than able
To beat this monster with God holding my hand.
